do you ever run ahead of god?

talk and not listen?

i do.
it's not intentional.
i don't mean to....

god is showing me
in a very real way

ask...
wait...
listen...
particularly when it comes
to making art.
i do want to make art
to glorify him.
often i make art and haven't even invited him in the process!!!
sadly, at times i do that in other areas of my life.
just kind of make plans without involving him in the process.
he wants more from me.
i surrender.

here i thought i was doing him a big favor...

i have been busy.

a very good busy.

i will be selling my art at a craft fair on nov. 6th.

this is a very brave thing for me.

i have never participated

in any kind of fair or show.

YIKES!!!

i decided that this would be a good venue to start with.

***something small and not so intimidating***

i have sold art only to friends

family and in my etsy shop.

this will be something new.

a little scary.

like i said, i'm being brave...

so....

i just continue

to collaborate with god,

hold on tight

and

bust. out. art.

he'll take care of the rest...

took photos

laughed

cried

gave comfort

enjoyed the beauty of lake tahoe

cooked

ate

prayed

listened to music

danced

shared stories

slept in

received healing massage

spent time alone

spent time together

hiked

read

watched in awe as god painted

the evening sky...3 nights in a row

made messes

cleaned up messes

and

gave thanks...

it was all i had hoped for, and i know it was for them as well. god's presence was felt very strongly, in many ways. we knew without a doubt that he was there with us...
